Introducing the Octopus Solid mango top electro-acoustic soprano ukulele

The featured solid mango top has been especially selected to produce the best possible tone whilst providing a naturally beautiful finish. The sides and back of the instrument are made of laminate mango. The flowing grain pattern of the mango wood is perfectly accentuated by the high gloss finish to create a ukulele you wont want to put down.

Part of the Octopus ‘Solid Top’ range, the solid mago top naturally vibrates to produce a sweet and complex tone. Quality components

The materials used in each Octopus ukulele have been carefully selected for tone production and longevity. A tie bar bridge is accurately bonded to the body for excellent sound production and silver chrome diecast tuners offer reliable tuning in a shiny finish. The side walls are fully lined for sound projection and a high-quality appearance.

Stunning design

The natural spalting of the mango wood creates a kaleidoscope of colours which is effectively captured in a high gloss finish and then accented by a light-coloured rosette. This ukulele also features the iconic Octowave headstock with an Octopus logo.

Fishman 'Kula' onboard preamp

This electro-acoustic ukulele features the reputable Fishman ‘Kula’ onboard preamp system - it's high quality active pickups providing an added boost before it even reaches your amp for a faithful reproduction of your sound. Including a built in chromatic tuner, as well as 3 bands of EQ and a volume control knob, simply plug a standard 6.35mm jack cable into its socket to connect any amp for that added power needed to fill larger spaces or even outdoor venues.

Nubone doesn't damp string vibration like plastic - instead, it transfers the optimum frequencies to the ukulele. Essentially, this new material helps produce more volume and a better tone.
